We Adopted Geochemical Remediation Framework

We are committed to continuous technical improvement through the evaluation and adoption of scientifically credible methodologies that enhance the quality of our environmental consulting services.

Following an internal technical evaluation, we approved the incorporation of the Geochemical Remediation Framework, authored by Mr. Akintunde Stephen Samakinde, into our portfolio of approved technical methodologies. The framework was officially adopted by our Company (Rockmines Geo-Environmental Services Limited) in August 2023 for application in suitable environmental projects.

The evaluation confirmed that the framework is scientifically sound, technically relevant, and compatible with the Company’s multidisciplinary approach to environmental site investigations, hydrogeological assessments, contaminated site evaluations, and groundwater remediation planning. The framework provides an additional decision-support tool for interpreting hydrochemical processes, contaminant behaviour, and geochemical stabilisation mechanisms during remediation planning.

The methodology shall be applied where supported by project-specific investigations, available technical data, regulatory requirements, and professional engineering judgement. It complements our Company’s existing technical procedures and does not replace established field investigations, laboratory analyses, engineering evaluations, or statutory compliance requirements.

This adoption reflects our commitment to integrating research-driven innovation into professional practice while maintaining the highest standards of technical excellence, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance.
